ARXX

CleanTech North 2011 Award Winner

ARXX is a leading supplier of insulating concrete form (ICF) technology, a green and sustainable building system. Structures built with ICFs use 44% less energy to heat and 32% less energy to cool, on average, compared to conventional wood frame structures. In addition, ICFs are structurally tough with superior fire resistance and sound suppression compared to conventional construction materials and methods. With over 105,000 projects representing more than 140 million square feet of installed walls and foundations, ARXX has a portfolio of projects that is unrivaled in the ICF industry and significant market share. What began as a better way to build and insulate basements in Canada, has evolved into a building system that is accepted within all major building codes in North America and commonly used in the construction of leading hotel chains; schools in many US states and provinces; multi-story condominiums and single family houses as well as military projects for the United States Department of Defense throughout the US.
